Prophecies sometimes do not carry the news we want or expect.
Jesus’ mother was told of the marvellous things which would happen, but also warned of the terrible things she would face.
God will always tell you the truth – are you willing to listen?

Why do you do what you do in church?
As a disciple of Christ should we not be giving everything we can not for recognition or reward, but because we love Christ?
Don’t come to God expecting worldly rewards – He is not of this world!
Psalm 81:13 If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways,
How many times have you given in to something which was just too tempting?
How many times have you done the right thing even when others don’t?
God wants us to choose the righteous paths in life – trust Him!
Jeremiah 7:27 When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.
When Jeremiah was sent out to remind people about God, he was warned that many would reject what he said.
God knows there are going to be people who reject Him and continue to reject Him, but not all.
We are to reach out to everyone and allow God to do the sorting!
