Psalm 36:7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

It is only when you get to realise God’s love do you begin to see how precious and unending it is!

People all round the world take refuge in God’s love and flock to Him for protection and hope.

We don’t have to be in Heaven holding on tight to His hands in order to know His love and safety – we can experience that right here and now!

Psalm 70:4 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, ‘The Lord is great!’

In this petition to God, David pleads for God’s continued support to all the people, especially anyone who is willing to call on the Lord.

God may know who loves Him, who trusts Him and who will depend on Him, but He also wants all of us to call on Him for help!

When we call out for help and help arrives, we are encouraged and our trust in that help increases – the same goes for our hope in Christ!
