Each time I go through the Old Testament I am amazed at something else I missed last time…
God’s plan was not to limit Heaven to a few choice people from a single race, but to have the Gospel told to anyone and everyone who would listen.
Let the whole world praise God and worship His Holy name!
Luke 18:15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.
Stop holding back the gospel! Stop preventing people from getting to know Jesus!
It is very easy to judge people by their lifestyles of choices and prevent them from getting to know the truth simply because you don’t think they deserve it!
Christ wants us to talk to everyone and allow everyone to get to know the truth and be in a relationship with Him!
Psalm 80:7 Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
During the time of the kings of Israel, people would be easily swayed away from God by the trappings of the world…
The Psalmist request God restores Israel to the position by His side once again as the chosen people.
God never turned His back on the people because He had already promised so much before these times – the people just needed reminders now and again of how they should be walking close to God!
Luke 10:27 He answered, ‘“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind”; and, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”’
What do you learn from the bible? What do you understand our duty is toward God and this world?
God created the universe for us to live in and has given us an instruction manual to try and live by showing us what the best things to do are so we will survive and thrive!
Trying to live by God’s Word and loving Him and everyone around us should be the primary Goal in our life – that way we stand the best chance at surviving!
