Psalm 138:3 When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.

Have you ever been too nervous to ask for something? What happened when you finally plucked up the courage to ask?

If we don’t ask, how are people going to know we are in need?

God wants us to ask, not so He can know what we want (because He already knows) but so we can get more courage to ask for more and depend on Him for more too!

Psalm 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.

Are you worried you have done too much wrong for God to forgive you?

Jesus paid personally with His life so your sins could be forgiven, no matter what they are!

God’s love for us has no end; He is willing to forgive us because His Son made it possible for us to be completely forgiven!

Psalm 34:22 The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

What does it take for you to be able to take refuge in God? Well it’s got to start by you reading or hearing God’s word so you can learn how others have done the same.

When we learn about what others have done, we can take what we learn and copy it – to either succeed or to fail, depending on what you read and how you apply it!

God has given us the knowledge written down, we must apply that in our lives to draw closer to Him.

Leviticus 19:2 Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: “Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

Have you though about how important the act of being holy is?

God cannot abide sin; yet, as sinners, we are forgiven because of what Christ has done for us, giving us a direct route to be with God in Heaven!

This does not give us the right to abuse the relationship Christ has with us – it gives us the opportunity to live a better life for God through Christ!
