Isaiah 30:23 He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.

“Not much to relate to here in our modern ways of living” you may think…

But if we look at it in a different light, things change… Think of the words you say as being the seeds, and the ground being the people around you…

When we start talking about Jesus, God will work with those words in people’s hearts, giving them understanding or even a thirst for more.

Think more along the lines of the “Butterfly Effect!”

Matthew 13:25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

I wonder if you have ever tried your best to do something right only to have someone else come along and break it all down…

We often find the greed and jealousy of others will make them do horrible things to the things we hold dear in our lives.

Do not take it too personally, they are probably doing this because God’s ways have shown up the shortcomings or rottenness in their ways.

Stand firm in God’s ways and obey His will.

Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

When will you step forward and do what God asked you to do a while ago?

Sometimes we just have to accept God’s help and step forward to do what He has asked us to do instead of trying to find our own ways of doing things.

God knows what we are going through, where we have been and what we can do – He will not ask you to do anything He knows you cannot do… Accept His help and guidance!

Isaiah 25:9 In that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.’

Why does it take miracles or good things happening to us before we recognise what God is doing for us every day of our lives?

Do we really need Him to do the extraordinary before we believe and trust in Him? Seems like it…

Why not look at the world around you today and see exactly what God is doing for us all, not just to us, but for everyone!
