Psalm 122:4 That is where the tribes go up – the tribes of the Lord – to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel.
Where do you go to praise the name of Jesus and to worship God?
If you answer is the local church building or the local temple, then think about what you are?
Christ declared us as temples for the Living God. Just do it!

Hannah had no children for the longest time until she promised God she would dedicate her baby to God if she could have one.
When Samuel was born, she dedicated him to God as promised.
Her prayers before were for strength and for a baby. Her prayers afterward were for praise and love for her amazing God!

Daniel 1:15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.
When Daniel and the others went to serve the king, they refused the royal food and asked for water and vegetables instead.
Now I’m sure the royal food would have been delicious and probably full of fat and other delicacies…
But we do not have to have what all the famous people have to live a good life. Sometimes the simple things make for better lives!

Isaiah knew there needed to be more people who would go out and tell others about God so they will be able to know Him.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.
As we see the fighting continue between Israel and Palestine we cannot hope but pray for peace.
It is the lust, pride and greed of mankind which continues to lead these kind of wars.
Let us pray all people on both sides will see the futility of the wars they are fighting and see the destruction of people instead!
