Luke 12:12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.

Sometimes I get tongue-tied. Sometimes I draw a blank. Trying to be inspirational every day can be difficult for anyone…

But when you are willing to allow someone else to be in charge with what comes out of your mouth or mind, then you will find a whole new bucket of inspiration.

If I ever do get in a bit of a bother about what to write, I turn to God and ask for help.

So far He has not let me down and I know He never will!

Jeremiah 1:9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

Jeremiah tried to excuse himself from being a prophet because he did not think he could do it; just as we doubt we can do the things God asks of us in the beginning.

But when we place our trust fully in God we will be surprised at how much we can achieve through and with Him.

Allow God to guide you, teach you, encourage you and even to exercise you!

Be real with Him and allow Him to build you up, fit for purpose!

Exodus 4:11 So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?

God was the one who created us, mankind, with a mouth to speak with, eyes to see with and ears to hear with.

But we are also reminded here that He has allowed some to be born with mouths which do not work properly, eyes which do not see and ears which cannot hear.

These are not to punish people but rather so He can be glorified the more – we do not know or understand all of His ways, but we know His ways are perfect.

Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

When Christ came to be amongst us, He literally opened the eyes of the blind physically; but also spiritually.

Christ passed the baton on to the disciples to ensure they would open the eyes of the Jews and the Gentiles alike; again both physically and spiritually.

Today that baton is in our grip where we have been given the task of opening the eyes of the blind by spreading the gospel and discipling others.

Don’t stop trying just because someone does not look like they want to listen…
