Romans 2:21 You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?

If you are willing to teach others you must be willing to listen to the same instructions which you give to others. Failing to do so would just be silly!

How many times in our lives have we done exactly that; told people what they should be doing and then not followed our own advice?

Just because we are willing to take our faults to Christ for forgiveness does not give us the right to go off and do it all again!

Psalm 50:17 Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?

If we are honest then none of us would really say we like to be told off or to be corrected; but what do you do when you are corrected?

Do you simply shrug off the correction and continue on in your own way because you think you are right, or do you take in what has been said and change?

God has given us many people in our lives who have obeyed instruction and have tried to pass on those instructions to us. If we ignore those instructions, then we are the fools!

1 Corinthians 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

If we continue to break God’s rules, then we should not expect to be able to get into Heaven with Christ.

God cannot abide sin; but He is willing to forgive it and cleanse us from that part.

There is no lust, no matter how deep and insatiable, which is able to stop God forgiving us…

As long as we are willing to ask for forgiveness for our sins and try to turn away from them, we should be able to continue spreading God’s love.

Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Many of the words in this and the following verses come from the Old Testament where the prophets had been warning and in turn warned the people.

According to those rules and regulations we have fallen very short of the mark of righteousness laid down by God.

Our tendency is not toward righteousness but toward all the bad things we can think of to get away with!

Adam may have started out doing it all correctly, but, like us, he fell off the wagon.
