Deuteronomy 8:3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

When we are too proud to do something the only person who loses out in the end is us…

God does not require a lot from us when we compare what the world wants from us against what He requires of us; but we give in to the world…

Time after time God gives us space and He tries to guide us in the right direction. Time after time we chose to do nothing or to go the other way because we are too proud.

God is trying to teach us to be humble so we can accept what we really need and not take what we want!

Psalm 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

Lifting up the name of Christ and making sure He is recognised for all He does should be our daily pleasure.

It is Christ who was there at the very beginning putting things into place. It is Christ who was there on the cross for us. It is Christ who will be there for us throughout time.

When we do take time to recognise all that He does for us and all that He has already done for us, we rejoice!

Let those memories never leave us so we can rejoice continually in all He has done, forever.

Psalm 22:22 I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

Are your brave enough to praise God when the world around you is calling for Him to be crucified?

Peter failed Jesus three times and yet we see him as a man of great faith and love for God.

Do not be discouraged by a failing now and again because we can take a step back and lift up our hands in glorious praise to our King of Kings.

Sometimes we do fail because we see no way out. Just know your love for Christ and keep it in the front of your heart and mind!

Psalm 22:1 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning?

These are the word Jesus used on the cross and yet we read about them hundreds of years before Christ came in human form.

This is God showing us that even though the world changes in so many ways and we may even fall apart at the seams, He continues to be the same forever.

We may think that God has left us alone in the desert or feel like we are the ones being crucified, but God is there and He is watching over us.

We may not like what we see now, but we will love what we get to be when we see Jesus face to face!
