Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Road rage, or any other rage is a result of anger and ill feeling building up inside of you; the expressing of all of those feelings coming out as rage!

If we are not careful we will take all of the bad things that happen in our lives and allow them to build up until we just have to vent them!

God knows we cannot carry around such a heavy burden and wants us to put them down through forgiveness and love toward one another.

It is only by being pro-active that we can avoid ‘road rage’ in our lives.

Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

The first step toward being able to love your neighbours is to be able to forgive them; which is a pretty big step to take!

Just as we have been given great gifts from people who we have done wrong to, so we should be willing to give great gifts to those who wrong us – forgiveness is a fantastic gift.

Christ showed us His love by taking the blame for our sins. He effectively forgave us there and then for all we do wrong.

Show God some love by not turning back to those sins He has paid for already…

Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

I find it amazing just how far parents are willing to go to ensure their children get just a little bit more than they deserve… I know, I have been there!

We do go that bit further than what is actually required just because we love our children.

God has shown us just how much He loves us by allowing Christ to die on the cross for us; and now we can count our blessings as we see how much more He is willing to do for us when we ask.

Psalm 86:3 Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long.

When you have problems, who do you turn to? When those problems take hold and get you down, who do you turn to?

It is nice and easy to choose a single person or pick a name, but actually taking our problems to them can be difficult!

God calls us to take our problems and lay them at His feet. He calls us to drop our burdens down for Him to deal with.

It may not seem logical to lay things down when you cannot see God; but doing so is very rewarding!
