Romans 5:2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We have been shown grace by many people in our lives but none compare to the grace that God has in store for us. Yes we have already been shown His grace, but there is more besides!

We already stand in this grace because of what Christ has done for us on the cross and because of that we have a sure hope for what is ahead.

Christ promised us eternal life in heaven with Him. It is a promise for all who accept it and hope in it!

Luke 7:50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Jesus was not one to stand there and bow down to being politically correct like so many people today. He was honest and open!

The Pharisees were now beginning to talk amongst themselves about anyone daring to say they could forgive sins when Jesus said these words.

Christ will always forgive those who are willing to come to Him and admit their sins. Don’t be held back by what others say; follow your heart.

Ephesians 2:3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Just as we can turn to someone and show them that they are sinners and need a Saviour, we too were in that place before we were saved from our sins.

We must not lift up ourselves in pride saying that we are saved from sin and no longer give in to the lusts of the flesh or eyes or mind because we were just the same at one stage!

Let us lift up each other and encourage each other to try to avoid sin by following God’s Word and being encouraged and guided by Him and Him alone.

Romans 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

We have the scriptures which tell us of what Christ went through for our sakes; He died and was buried, but now lives!

Through that same truth we should count ourselves dead to sin because Christ took on that debt on our behalf.

And because Christ is alive again after being raised from the dead, we should look forward to being alive by avoiding that sin which lead to our death.

Live for and with Christ because He has allowed you to do so!
