Revelations 10:9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, ‘Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but “in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”’

Sometimes in life we do something which seems so good and even right, but it turns out to be bad.

Many of the sins we get involved with are like that, they seem fine at the time, but as we get to realise what we have done, it all turns sour!

God wants us to be weary of what we do and try to compare it with what He has told us through His Word.

Luke 19:42 and said, ‘If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace – but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Do you know what makes your friends cry in despair? Do you know what makes Jesus cry in despair?

When we turn our backs on the things which would bring peace to all, Jesus cries.

When we face the world and ignore His people, He cries.

Think about it!

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

The words have been written down for many thousands of years…

Let everything and everyone praise the Lord!

We have been given the chance. Jesus has reminded us… We really do need to praise the Lord in everything we do and say!

Luke 19:7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, ‘He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.’

How many times do you turn down an invitation just because you hold something against the other person?

Jesus wants us to put aside the trial of life’s relationships and treat people as people.

When you are going to do something, ask yourself, how would Jesus handle this circumstance – and aim toward that!
