Luke 21:4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.

What criteria do you use to decide whether you are going to give to the poor, help the needy or give to the church?

Are you limiting your outgoings to what you think is a fair deal according to your incoming?

I have found through experience I should be willing to give no matter the income – and God has always helped me through my life when I do this!

Daniel 7:9 As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

These word describing beasts in heaven can be troubling to people when they read them – and must have been to Daniel as he dreamed them!

The evil beasts will fool some into listening and they will be destroyed by the beasts.

But, as we read through the whole description, we read about how God is going to destroy the evil beasts whilst showing everyone Jesus is given all power and authority.

Follow the truth and you too will endure.

Jude 1:22 Be merciful to those who doubt;

How do you treat people who either say they don’t believe, are doubting their beliefs or have some beliefs which don’t line up with the gospel?

This epistle condemns some for being against Christ, but I love the fact it also says to be merciful to those who doubt!

How can we ever hope to share the gospel unless we are merciful and supportive to people who have some sort of an issue with either the gospel or Christ?

Matthew 8:34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

A lot of people do not agree with what Jesus taught, ergo, a lot of people may not believe you when you talk about the gospel!

When you read this story, do you side with the people because all the pigs were lost, or do you side with Jesus for saving a couple of people?

Jesus gave the demons one last chance to leave the people alone – they chose to run the pigs into the water after they left the pigs…

Jesus did not drive them into the water! Don’t blame God when things go wrong!
