Proverbs 20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The Lord has made them both.

Artists and artisans can depict and construct eyes and ears which look good enough to see and hear, but they cannot.

Scientists can construct robotic eyes and ears which they say can see and hear, but they are still nowhere near as good as the human counterparts in many aspects.

God gave us eyes to see and ears to hear. He made us in this very special way to have extraordinary senses which we can call on at any time.

He gave us these senses so we can expand our wisdom and get to know Him more each day. How do you use your senses?

Deuteronomy 29:3 the great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great wonders.

What do you do with the things other people tell you about God and the miracles He does? Do you ignore them because they did not happen to you? Do you ignore them because you think He does not do miracles anymore?

The people of Israel continued to show coldness of heart and they withdrew from God because of thoughts like these.

God continues to do miracles and wonders in our modern lives; man continues to be more afraid to accept God as the Lord Almighty who can and does do everything!

Trust God and all He can do – have faith He is still continuing with His promises!

Isaiah 43:8 Bring out the blind people who have eyes, And the deaf who have ears.

Are you deaf and blind? I’m not talking about being physically deaf and blind but spiritually deaf and blind?

Too many things in our lives detract us from God and His ways; we run off and do our own things which makes us look like we are deaf and blind.

The world may not see us as deaf or blind because this is the world we live in, but God and other Christians will see it in us.

Open you heart and soul to Christ and live with Him.

Isaiah 48:6 You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them.

Do you want to hear from God? Do you want Him to guide you every step of the way? Do you want Him to comfort you?

I’m sure you answered yes to at least one of the above – yet so many of us refuse to listen to God when He does speak, guide and comfort.

We are too stiff-necked, too proud, too suborn. We think we can do it all and we continue to fall flat on our faces.

God has given us the complete Gospel – we need to believe it, trust it, digest it and continue to uphold it for it to be effective!
