Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

When you look at other people what do you see? If you see someone who is at peace with their life, someone who always smiles, someone who is willing to love others, someone who puts up with grief from others, someone who only dishes out kindness and someone who always seems to be there; then I put it to you that you are looking at a Christian who is depending on God.

This is the sort of life that God would want each of us to have and one that He promotes through other Christians.

God has created this world the way that it is, but He still loves us enough to want us to live a beautiful life with Him.

1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

We always find it easier to make friends with someone if they are first willing to be friends with us or are friendly toward us. But if someone has an issue with us or is just plain unfriendly, making friends can be very hard.

God has loved us from the beginning and has continued to show us that love throughout time. We often turn away from Him and wonder why we get into trouble; but because He loves us He wants us to straighten our lives out and will encourage us to do so.

People may come into our lives and show us love and friendship without asking for anything in return. It just may be that God has brought them to you to allow you to know His ways and His love.

Psalm 116:1 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy.

Some people ask me why I do the things that I do for God. They ask me why I do things without question. They ask me why I do things where others will not. This verse sums up why I do things for God.

I work for God because He listens to me, answers me and does so much more for me. I do things for God to show Him that I love Him for everything He does for me.

I honour my Father in heaven for all that He does for me. I honour Him through working for and with Him. Are you willing to step forward with us?

Proverbs 15:5 A fool despises his father’s instruction, but he who receives correction is prudent.

Ok, so we are not all perfect – but I guess you may have worked that one out already, especially when you look at me! Seriously though, we do make mistakes and we do have to take time out to say we are sorry.

But if we spurn the people who point out our mistakes or want to show us the right way of doing things, we are saying to them that we don’t care about doing things right or fixing mistakes – basically we are telling them that we are stupid because we don’t want to learn!

God gave us the bible so that we could spot our mistakes. Once we do that and move on, we will be able to do a whole lot more rather than breaking things continually…
