Luke 19:10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

After all the celebrations die down you may begin to think that people have given up on you or that they don’t seem to care; I mean, we had all the presents a week ago, now there seems like there is nothing left to do…

Please remember that God did allow Jesus to be born on earth thousands of years ago. Jesus then made it His personal quest to seek and to save the people around Him that may well have been feeling very lost. God continues to seek people and to save them from their ways and their lives. He wants to do the same for you…

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

You may hear some pretty grim stories from the bible but the one thing we need to remember is that it all happened that way for a very good reason – so that we can learn from what has happened in the past. God has personally made sure that Jesus Christ came to rescue us from the terrible lives that we may have and to show us how special life can be with Him.

Don’t push God out just because someone else told you something that you did not like. God has come to save us…

New Years Eve 2012

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

Ok, so I couldn't wait for tomorrow...

As we work though a verse a day for the comming year we are going to see many different things about Christians that you may not have thought about before; we will also see many different things about God that you will not have thought about either.

Today we simply look at the amazing love that God has for us. We like to think we know what love is about and what makes up love, but our so called love seems to have limits. God's love has no limits and I just want you to know that up front so we can explore this much deeper than if we think of God as being human...

He is not. He is God. His love knows no limits...

God's Love

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, the whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (NKJV)

This is the first verse that I learned from the bible when I was much younger and one that has allowed me to see many different things about God, about religion and about me as well. I learned this at a church in Zimbabwe because I had to in order to be confirmed. It was not until a while later when I learned how special these words actually are. God, our God, almighty and everlasting, allowed His Son to come and visit us so that we could share in His love and so that we can have hope.

When everything around us seems to be breaking up and breaking down, God continues to show us we have hope; and that hope comes through believing in Him. I would like each of your to be able to learn about that same love that God has for me, because I know He has it for you as well. I am nothing special; but I know that you are because He loves you!

Join us as we begin our journey of hope....
