Psalm 119:1 Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
How would you describe doing things according to the law of the Lord?
Do you describe it as being the very long list of laws written down in the Bible, or just what Jesus said?
Jesus came to uphold the law and teach us what it really means because we lost our way!
Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Just because God’s Word is perfect, does not mean mankind is perfect!
We make mistakes, we sin and we do things wrong all the time.
But we can look to God’s Word and know it is what we should be aiming for!
Ephesians 2:19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household
We no longer have to see ourselves as the outsiders in God’s Kingdom!
Christ came to make sure we have an eternal home in Heaven and with Him…
Don’t be a stranger, commune with God!
Psalm 5:12 Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favour as with a shield.
All throughout our bibles we can see how God protects the people who need it and upholds the righteous.
We can continue to be sure God is watching over us and we need to give Him the glory for all of this!
