Psalm 130:3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
What would you do if someone kept a record of everything you did wrong?
What would you do if someone said they would help you do illegal things to gain treasures?
Be careful of the one who offers things before taking them away!
Psalm 138:3 When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.
When we call on the name of Christ, He gives us the courage and peace to follow Him with confidence.
We have hope because of what Christ did for us and continues to do.
We have a choice to make – call on Christ and live, or not and don’t!
Psalm 51:17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
How would you describe a broken spirit? Are you living in a right relationship with God?
Having a broken spirit does not mean we should be a useless bag of nails…
A broken spirit means we need to admit our faults and be brutally honest with God!
Psalm 34:22 The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
How real is your relationship with Christ? How honest are you? How important are you?
When we come to Christ humbly and honestly, He builds a good relationship with us.
Then when we need Him, He knows us and will help us!
