If we set time aside for God, should we not put away the things of the world?
Opening ourselves to God in all honesty and with a humbleness which comes from deep within is more like the position we should be in with God!
Don’t just set aside time, make time and spend it wisely with God!

The more righteous we live our lives, the more we will find contentment.
The more we try to build up earthly goods, the more we will crave and lose.
God wants us to know we cannot gain happiness from earthly treasures...

We often get worried someone has not heard us and we shout things out to make sure they hear us…
We don’t have to do this with God because He knows us deeper than our own thoughts!
He knew us before we understood. He loved us before we were born. He wants us all to be saved!
James 1:13 When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
How many times have you heard someone saying Go has let them down or has not answered prayers?
How many times do you see someone, or yourself, letting God down?
God does not tempt people, rather the evil in this world is what tempts us...
