Psalm 139:1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.
How close is your heart to Christ? No, not ‘how much do you love Christ…’
God knows what is going on in our hearts and minds and He is trying to direct us toward a better path.
If we listen to Him and obey Him more in our lives, our hearts will be closer to His will and His ways… and Him!
Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.
What do other people see when they look at you?
If you are able to show people you have a great relationship with God and trust Him fully, then they too may seek Him out!
Don’t hide you life with Christ under the table, allow people to see you are different!
Romans 12:5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
One of the biggest thing which stops people from coming to church is the disagreements people have with each other!
If we aimed to be more like Christ and accept people from being different, things may be very different!
It upsets me more than anything to see disagreements in churches because it is all man made!
Psalm 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
One thing I have learned and something my parents have always taught me, is ‘God helps those who help themselves.’
This is not to say we should do what we want and God will help us!
This means we do need to work for what we get – God does not want us to sit and take Him for granted!
