Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
How long do you support someone who you think is doing the right things?
How long do you support someone who you think is not doing the right thing?
God shows His love and support for us even though He knows what we have done!
Psalm 89:26 He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Saviour.’
God recognises all who look to Him as God and Saviour; He upholds them too!
So many warnings about not following God are written in our bibles, it would be foolish to ignore them…
And yet so many people do ignore God’s warnings and live their own public lives without a true God!
Psalm 132:1 Lord, remember David and all his self-denial.
Sometimes we remember people for all the wrong things they have done instead of what they have not done!
God wants us to balance our lives and live them to give Him the glory…
Sometimes that means not doing something instead of following the crowd!
Psalm 97:7 All who worship images are put to shame, those who boast in idols - worship him, all you gods!
When the apostles remind us every knee will bow, that includes the false gods and idols!
We should not be wasting our time running after things which don’t matter in the end…
Run after the one who we will all bow to alone!
